Spanish Stories for Kids (“we”, “us”) operates the website spanishstoriesforkids.com and the associated podcast. Questions about this policy can be sent to hello@spanishstoriesforkids.com.

What data we collect and why

Newsletter subscription

When you subscribe to our newsletter we collect your email address. We use it exclusively to send you new episode announcements and occasional Spanish-learning resources. We never sell or rent your email to third parties.

Your email is stored and processed by Brevo (formerly Sendinblue), our email service provider, acting as a data processor on our behalf. Brevo’s privacy practices are described at brevo.com/legal/privacypolicy.

Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics to understand general site usage (page views, referrer, device type). Vercel Analytics does not use cookies and does not store personally identifiable information. Data is aggregated and anonymized.

We also use Google Tag Manager, which may load Google Analytics. Google Analytics uses cookies to measure how visitors interact with our site. You can opt out via the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Spam prevention

Our newsletter form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish humans from bots. Turnstile generates a short-lived cryptographic token verified server-side. No personal data is stored by this process.

Data retention

Your email address is retained for as long as you remain subscribed to the newsletter. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email we send, or by contacting us directly.

Your rights

Depending on your location (EU/EEA under GDPR, California under CCPA), you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Request a portable copy of your data
• Object to or restrict certain processing
